I have had a lot of problems with the company currently hosting the site.  It pretty much got to the point of just pure lunacy.  Some of you may have read the email exchanges between myself and company personell in our private members area.  Needless to say, I don't plan on spending any more money with them, and am going to move to greener pastures.

So, this site will soon close, the domain (Tupelovoice.com) will be transferred to a new hosting company I have been working with for several months, and it will be rebuilt from scratch as a forum and opinion site, much like the days when we were known as TupeloForums.  In other words, we're going back to basics and focus strictly on Tupelo issues.  This site evolved into something that needs it's own space, and it will not be constrained by the Tupelovoice name.  

While I have been planning this transition, I have also been building an entirely new community forum.  I have taken the best parts of Tupelovoice and have improved them even more. This new site is much like what we have here and is a community site that includes lots of ways to discuss issues, share stories and ideas, contribute to a community effort, and of course, play games. But now, anyone from anywhere will be able to join in on the fun.  It's my intention to market the new site throughout the South.

I will make an announcement later this week about the name and location of the new site.  After that announcement, this site will begin to wind down, and eventually close until the domain has been moved.  Once moved, Tupelovoice will undergo a total transformation into an opinion website dedicated to the Tupelo area, much in the same way as we opened Prentissvoice.com

I hope this has been clear and everyone understands that Tupelovoice will be closing for a short time to move and get a complete makeover.  And if you enjoy participating in a community social network, then stay tuned for the announcement of our latest creation later this week.
